1. Black Mambas (6-0)
The Mambas completed the first perfect season ever after blowing by the Bats, 6-2, in the championship. Brandon Bailes won a tightly contested Male MVP race over Elijah Curtis and Ben Mora. Gage Stamper also took home Rookie of the Year honors after batting .667 with 12 Runs, 10 RBI, and a Home Run.
2. Bats (5-3)
Despite Elijah Curtis' best efforts, the Bats couldn't pull off the upset over the Mambas in the championship. Elijah broke the single season records for Runs and Home Runs this year. Maddy Mullin also chipped in quite a bit of help, as she put up 4 Runs, 8 RBI, and 3 Homers to claim her first Female MVP.
3. Havildars (4-4)
The Havs were the suprise playoff team of 2018. After coming in as the 5 seed in the bracket, they edged the Gorillas, 3-2, then got knocked to the third place game after an 8-2 loss to the Mambas, then surprised the Cardinals 2-0 to finish at number 3 in the rankings. Ben Mora had the best year of his career after blasting 8 Homers, along with 16 RBI and 14 Runs.
4. Cardinals (4-4)
The Cards cruised past the Bandits in round one en route to a 4-1 victory, but the going got tough in their next two games. The Bats cut down the Cards 4-2 in the second round, and then the Cards were stunned by the Havildars in the third place game. Matthew Mora led the team in all hitting categories in his first season back since 2016. Count on him to be a first rounder next season.
5. Gorillas (3-3)
Poor batting in their lone playoff game against the Havildars sent the Gorillas to fifth in the final standings. They finished with just 4 Home Runs all season, which was second worst; and only scored 15 runs in their 6 games, which was third worst in the league. Caleb Curtis will definitely look to build a better team in 2019.
6. Base Bandits (1-5)
The Bandits' 25 hits is the lowest in the league has seen since the Wolf Pack in 2015. They were knocked out of the playoffs early after the Cardinals flew by them with a 4-1 win. Cody Munhollon led the team in all hitting categories except for Home Runs, which was held by team captain, Morgan Mullin.
7. Wolf Pack (1-5)
It's just been one heart-breaking loss after another for the Wolf Pack. Their 2018 season came to a crushing end to the Bats after Elijah Curtis hit a walf-off solo Home Run in the bottom of the fifth inning. They were shutout in two of their 6 games, but 4 of their 5 losses were by just one run. They were so close, yet so far away.
